Eyelids

Droopy and heavy eyelids causing significant ocular or cosmetic symptoms may be lifted with blepharoplasties.

Common eyelid inflammation (Blepharitis), blocked oil glands (Chalazion/Meibomian cyst), eyelash folliculitis (Stye) are treated using a combination of warm lid massage, eye drops/ointments and surgical drainage in the office.

Abnormal positions of the eyelid (Ectropion/Entropion) may be treated with surgery to reform a more normal anatomical position.

Eyelid tumours may require excisional biopsy and reconstructive eyelid surgery.
