Intraocular Inflammation
What is it?

Inflammation in the middle layer of the eyeball (Uveitis) is a serious condition and may present with vision loss, light sensitivity, redness, floaters and pain. Untreated, it can lead to cataract, glaucoma, retinal detachment and blindness.

How is it treated?

Treatment is tailored to the cause and severity of the Uveitis using a combination of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications in the form of eye drops, tablets and injections.
